Support Group Meetings

All meetings are at 6.45pm for 7pm and are held in the MSK/Physio gym at Wharfedale Hospital unless otherwise stated. Members of Wharfedale Cardiac Club may use their parking permits to park free of charge when attending the support group meetings.

July 8th 2026: Obesity and Heart Disease - Speaker: Dr. Klaus Witte MD, FRCP, FESC, FACC, FHEA, FAHFA, FBCS, MSc Senior Lecturer in Cardiology and Consultant Cardiologist.

 

 August 19th 2026: The "SABRE" method of recovery - Speaker: Dr. Chris Shinn, former head of Occupational Health for West Yorkshire Police.
